![]() The answer is to stop viewing the "other" as evil, an enemy, and care about them instead. ![]() The ensuing destruction affects the world around you, drags others into the pain, and spreads exponentially. No matter how mistreated you think you have been, it's never okay to act out in revenge against those who have hurt you, and especially those who you think are "like" the ones that hurt you. This book delivers a very timely message disguised under a lighthearted veneer. Considering the current national conversation surrounding politics and everything else, It's time we learned that we ALL are capable of fears, insecurities, tender feelings, and unrequited love, regardless of whatever category you think defines you. Update: I've finished reading the book, sans narration, and I have to give it 4 stars at least. It was distracting, and I wasn't having fun. ![]() The narration caused me to view the characters as irredeemably shallow and immature. ![]()
