![]() ![]() Our work on child marriage has led to a 29% decrease in its prevalence in the communities we work with and over 25,000 people have attended a meeting to hear more about ending child marriage for good. Ethiopia alone is home to 15 million child brides. Still today, 1 in 5 girls globally are married off before they turn 18 years old. ![]() In Bangladesh, this figure rose to a shocking 93% of women. And in Kenya this figure was 80%.Īt The Hunger Project we work to combat gender based violence in all its forms.
